12-Week Editorial Partnership
Write the Book That's Been Forming for Years

The Cost of Leaving the Book Unwritten
Without a book
- •Years of practice and insight that haven't yet reached the people who need them
- •The same conversations and teachings, repeated one client at a time
- •A book you keep meaning to write that quietly slips down the list each year
- •The unease of carrying work you haven't yet given proper form
With your authority book
- A finished manuscript that holds the depth of your practice on the page
- Readers who arrive at your work already trusting how you think
- A body of work that lives beyond the room, the clinic, or the screen
- The quiet satisfaction of having actually written it
Your 12-Week Path
A clear, supportive framework that takes you from a head full of practice to a finished manuscript on the page. Every phase draws on humanistic and transformative learning theory and cognitive load theory, so the book you write teaches as well as it reads.
Weeks 1-2
Foundations
We define the reader, the premise, and the through-line of the book, and shape a clear structure together. You'll leave this phase with a steady framework to write from.
Weeks 3-8
Drafting
The core writing phase. Weekly chapter submissions keep you moving, while editorial feedback keeps the structure steady and the voice yours.
Weeks 9-10
Completion
You finish the first draft. By this point you'll have a complete manuscript in hand. The shape of the book is finally there in front of you.
Weeks 11-12
Refinement
I carry out a full developmental review of the manuscript. You receive detailed editorial feedback to strengthen the work, leaving you with a considered, revised second draft.
What's Included in Your Partnership
Six 1:1 Editorial Sessions
One-hour virtual sessions where we shape your practice into a clear, considered book. Equal parts editorial direction and quiet thinking space.
Weekly Accountability
Submit chapters on our agreed schedule with editorial feedback as you go. Enough structure to keep you writing with confidence, without ever feeling rushed.
Developmental Edit
Detailed editorial feedback on your complete manuscript so you know exactly what's already working and where to focus the revision before the book goes any further.
Is This Right for You?
This programme is designed for a particular kind of author.
This is for you if...
- You have years of clinical, coaching, teaching, or practitioner experience and a clear sense of the book inside it
- You're ready to commit around 10 hours a week to writing for 12 weeks
- You want real editorial accountability, not just encouragement
- You're open to honest feedback that serves the work and the reader
- You see this book as part of how your practice meets the wider world
This isn't for you if...
- ×You're looking for someone to ghostwrite the book for you
- ×You can't carve out the writing time right now
- ×You're writing fiction or memoir without a wider message
- ×You're not open to honest editorial feedback
- ×You'd rather drift toward the book on your own timeline
What You Walk Away With
A Finished Manuscript
A considered, revised second draft you're proud to put your name on
Editorial Clarity
A real understanding of who the book is for, what it does for them, and where it sits in your wider work
Clear Next Steps
Whether that's approaching publishers, moving into a considered self-publishing process, or sitting with the book for a beat
Common Questions
What if I get stuck or fall behind?
It happens, and we plan for it. The programme has built-in flexibility, and our 1:1 sessions are designed to gently get you moving again. I've worked with many practitioners through writer's block. You won't be left on your own with it.
How much time do I need each week?
Plan for around 10 hours a week. That includes writing, our sessions, and time to think and reflect. It's a real commitment, but a deliberately contained one; that's how books in this field actually get finished.
What if my idea isn't fully formed yet?
That's exactly what the first two weeks are for. We take what's already in you, often more than you realise, and shape it into a clear structure before you write a single chapter.
Can I do this alongside my practice or business?
Yes, most authors I work with do. It asks for discipline and a few protected hours each week. We'll design a rhythm that respects your client work, your home life, and the writing all at once.
What happens after the 12 weeks?
You'll have a considered second draft and a clear sense of next steps. Some authors go on to approach publishers with strong proposals; others move into a thoughtful self-publishing process. We'll talk through what fits the book and you.
The Investment
