About Elaine
Content & Learning Strategist
It Began with Words
I have always been the person who notices language. The phrase that lands, the sentence that falls flat, the single word that shifts what a reader believes. Long before I knew it was a career, I was collecting words.
Twenty-plus years on, the fascination hasn't dimmed. I have played with words in newsrooms and publishing houses, in broadcast studios and learning teams; sub-editing a page to its cleanest version, commissioning a book that needed to exist, structuring a course until the hardest idea finally makes sense.
Different rooms, the same instinct: find the message, then find the truest and clearest way to deliver it.
What I love is the moment it lands. A reader understands something they couldn't before. A learner stops fighting the material and starts using it. A brand finally sounds like itself. That moment is rarely luck; it's designed, and something I love to do.
I work with people who have something real to say. My job is to make sure it gets heard.

My Approach
Whether it's a content strategy, a manuscript, or a course module, the work isn't decorative; it's deliberate. Every element should serve its audience, carry a clear intent, and respect how much a person can genuinely take in. No rigid templates; every client brings a different audience and different stakes. My role is to bring senior editorial judgement, content strategy, and learning science so the work lands with the precision and care it deserves.
